PRO LIFERS WANT TO BAN CONTRACEPTION

PRO LIFERS HAVE DECLARED WAR ON CONTRACEPTION: THEY ARE  OPPOSED TO RELIABLE CONTRACEPTIVES SUCH AS THE PILL, IUD AND CONDOMS, MEDICALLY ACCURATE SEX EDUCATION, SEX WITHOUT PROCREATION, and THE HPV VACCINE SOME OF THOSE WHO ARE AGAINST THE ABOVE, ARE ALSO AGAINST CHILDCARE.   "When you peel back the layers of the anti-choice motivation, it always comes back to two things: What is the nature and purpose of human sexuality? You probably visited some pro life sites and have seen the graphic images of bloody and dismembered fetuses. You may have mixed feelings about abortion and have acted responsibly by  using reliable methods of contraception such as the pill, DEPO or the IUD. What you may not realize is that those who are against  abortion are also against reliable contraception and sex education. Their aim is to ban not only abortion but contraception, sex education and sex outside of marriage. Their aim is to condemn women to perpetual childbearing, bear in mind that the average woman spends  around three decades of her life trying to avoid pregnancy. By blocking women's access to the means of controlling their fertility they hope to roll back all the gains in education, work and financial independence that women have made in the last forty years. Pro lifers often argue that a woman can choose not to be pregnant by avoiding sex, having sex is not consent to pregnancy  (the same way that consent to swim is not consent to drown).  People have a  right to non-procreative sex, as it is a strong natural urge that cannot (and should not) be repressed, and sex has other very important functions besides procreation - it promotes good physical and mental health, intimacy, and love.
